Welcome back!
Over the past few months it's as you'd expect -- busy and a blast! With
repeat visits by Deal and Al, to newcomers Jake and Karen, my coolest sister
Jen, Al and Allison, and most recently Aunt Nancy and family. Had a great
time and appreciated their company. Plus visitors give an excuse to clean
and explore the culinary experiences of Louisville!
House hospitality is great; so is being the visitor. Before the pump
prices went wild.... ventured out to Chicago, Indianapolis, Atlanta, and the
West Coast (of Illinois). Chi-town got to catch up with some old time
Purdue friends and hit up the original Gino's East pizza.
Indianapolis was a week ago to hang with Deal and geek out at Fry's Electronics.
Had a fun and work-full week in Atlanta to hand-off a project and explore the
city and cuisine with my work-wife Ramla and friends. Last but not latest,
end of June I was cruising the streets on Illinois's west coast, spending a week
at scout summer camp
as a leader with the 34-attended stellar Troop 123, Orion Illinois.
Besides visits and visitors -- managed to find time for those technology
projects (other than updating the website apparently, hehe). With advice
from Al, I spent "kwuality" time in the attic finishing up surround sound
wiring. When not itching from insulation, I've been digging around beta
products from Microsoft like
Windows Vista, Visual Studio 2005 and SQL 2005. Eventually there may
even be a resolution to the never ending battle with the garbage disposal!
Many thanks for stopping by. Always welcome you to
drop in or drop a line!
